LexThai provides subscription-based legal assistance services, including online consultations, legal guidance, case submissions, and 24/7 emergency support.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when refunds or cancellations may be granted, what limitations apply, and how users can submit a request.
By purchasing any membership plan from LexThai, you agree to the following terms.
1. General Principles
Because our services involve access to legal expertise, case handling, professional review, and immediate availability of certain benefits (such as the emergency hotline and online knowledge resources), refunds are limited and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Refunds are issued only when fair, justified, and compliant with consumer protection standards in Thailand.
2. Non-Refundable Services
The following services are not eligible for refunds once accessed or used:

24/7 Emergency Hotline

Online legal guides and member-exclusive knowledge resources
-
Online or scheduled consultations (partial or full)
-
Case submissions (“Open a Case”) where our legal team has already reviewed or started working on the request

Any service or benefit included in a membership tier that has been consumed, accessed, or utilized by the member
-
Monthly membership fees for billing cycles that have already started
These items become non-refundable because they provide immediate value, require professional time, or trigger internal review processes from our legal team.
3. Membership Plans and Cancellations
LexThai offers four membership tiers:

Traveler Legal Care

Resident Legal Plan
-
Business Legal Partner
-
Elite Member
Plans are hierarchical, meaning each higher-tier plan includes all features of the lower tiers.
3.1 Cancellation of Future Billing
All plans are auto-renewed until the member cancels.
A user may cancel their subscription at any time, and the cancellation will apply to the next billing cycle.
No prorated or partial refunds are issued for unused days in the current cycle.
4. Refund Eligibility Before Services Begin
If a member purchased a plan but has not used any included services, they may request:

A partial refund (after deducting administrative and payment processing fees), or

A full refund in special circumstances determined by LexThai
“Not used any included services” means:

No case submissions
-
No consultations scheduled
-
No emergency hotline calls
-
No use of resources that are exclusive to paid members
Eligibility is evaluated individually.
5. Partial Refunds When Services Were Partially Used
If the user has accessed some benefits but not all, LexThai may approve a partial refund, based on factors such as:

Whether a case was opened

Whether a consultation was scheduled or completed

Whether professional legal work has already begun
-
Whether emergency support was used
-
Whether member-exclusive materials were accessed
LexThai will calculate partial refunds fairly, with consideration of:

Time spent by legal staff

Administrative work already performed
-
Platform fees charged by Wix/Omise
Partial refunds will be explained clearly to the customer if approved.
6. Duplicate Charges, System Errors, or Unauthorized Payments
A refund will be issued if any of the following occur:

Duplicate or accidental billing
-
Technical payment errors
-
Unauthorized transactions are proven by the member
Refunds for these cases are processed as quickly as possible, depending on banking and payment provider timelines.
